The staff made things easy with three little kids, even changing meal times for us and arranging a special dinner by the beach with a bonfire on our last night. They do a great job given how remote the place is. Our room felt pretty hot at night without AC when we visited at the end of November. I’m Scottish and don’t cope well with real heat, so if you’re similar, I’d skip Nov-Feb. Otherwise, it’s lovely. We’ll be back.

We had a lovely dinner on the beach one evening, and the food was good. Phillip, the manager, and the rest of the staff were fantastic. Lazy Lagoon was a peaceful place to spend three nights, with beautiful ocean views and lots of room to relax. It’s an idyllic escape from the city for a few nights, without Zanzibar’s chaos. We’d definitely recommend it. Thank you!

The evenings around the campfire were lovely, and the food was very good. We spent four wonderful days at Lazy Lagoon Island Lodge in November 2024. Our sea-view bandas were well equipped, though the bathrooms could use a bit of renovation. Thanks to all the staff for being so friendly and helpful. Daniela+Marc

Philip and his team welcomed us with such warmth and care. It was an unforgettable place to unwind: sleep by the sea, take long walks, swim, read, and eat. The setting was wonderfully quiet, and we had comfortable beds and pillows and a nice bathroom. The food was delicious, especially dinner by the beach and campfire, along with the homemade chutneys, jams, and honey.

We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed it. The food was good, and the service staff were all helpful. The manager, Mr. Philip, was especially attentive and accommodating with our requests.
