The hotel was easy to get to and well located, and both the rooms and shared areas were clean enough. For a small town like Morogoro, I thought it was a pretty good option. The one problem during my night there was that the bathroom had no hot water.

The food was somewhere in the middle, neither great nor bad, and it took a while to come out. Breakfast was okay too. The staff were friendly, and the location was decent. By Morogoro standards, Morena is a reasonable place to stay, with clean rooms, fresh sheets, fluffy pillows, and a roomy bathroom with the necessary toiletries.

The room quality felt mediocre for this price range, and there are several other places in Morogoro with better rooms or service for the same money, sometimes less. On the plus side, it felt safe, there was Wi-Fi, plenty of parking, and a balcony with a view. The location is spot-on, right by msamvu round about.
