I enjoyed my time here. The customer service was great.

I stayed one night while traveling to Dar es Salaam. The location is right in the city centre, the prices are modest, and the front desk staff are friendly. My room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the restaurant was excellent. Check it out if you’re in Mwanza.

The staff were extremely friendly, and the place itself is cozy, with well-furnished rooms. Some rooms have kitchenettes, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Our stay extension was confirmed, but someone made a mistake and checked us out anyway. The reservations handling was extremely poor. We skipped breakfast and went next door to The Crosse Keys for a Wetherspoon special. It’s handy for the tube and lots of sights, and I’d certainly stay again.

Pentagon Hotel has an on-site restaurant and is set in Mwanza, 700 m from Tourist Information and 800 m from S&D Supermarket. Rooms have private bathrooms and a flat-screen TV. There’s a 24-hour front desk.

The staff took good care of us, and it’s a nice hotel for a short stay. Breakfast, though, was very disappointing and below expectations.
