Jason was especially kind when we ran into a difficult situation, and the support he gave us meant a lot. The room was comfortable, clean, and well cared for. We also loved the local performance, one of the most memorable parts of our stay and a lovely way to experience the culture. From the start, the hosts made us feel welcome in a warm, family-like place. We had a lovely time in Zanzibar and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, friendly stay with caring hosts. ❤️🐱🐶👍

The food at Babalao Bungalows was the standout for us. We tried plenty of highly rated restaurants around the island, but none came close to these flavors. The pool, cocktails, and location near the sea were great too, and the hotel was spotless throughout our stay. Alp Bey and the team were so friendly and happy to answer questions. When availability allowed, they helped us with early check-in and late check-out, which made things easier. They also arranged activities and tours for us. We compared providers, and the hotel's suggestions offered better value and more complete options. The tours we took through them were more enjoyable as well as better priced for what they included. If you're unsure about traveling in Africa, Alp Bey and his team did a lot to help us feel comfortable. We didn't have a single bad experience, and I can't imagine a better stay.

The rooms looked great and were cleaned daily by a lovely team. The owner was very welcoming when we spoke with him, and the staff made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Before the trip, we had an issue with our suitcase, and they showed how helpful they could be. We chose this bungalow after reading the online reviews, and it turned out to be the dream stay we were hoping for.

The owners made the place feel like home, with a relaxed family atmosphere. It was clean and quiet, right by the beach, and the food was amazing. We stayed four nights this past week and had a great time. Service was excellent. I'd definitely recommend it.

Nice rooms and really friendly staff, with the sea very close by. The garden has a lovely spot to relax, and the pool is refreshing, with comfortable beds and sun umbrellas. You'll enjoy these bungalows.
