The bungalows are lovely, and the setting is quiet and relaxed. It’s 20m from the beach, with a small pleasant stretch of sand of its own. At low tide you can walk all the way to Kendwa, though it’s a bit away from Nungwi’s larger beach hotels and about 15 minutes from the center. We stayed two nights and had lobster with every meal. It was only 18000tzs and really delicious, as were the calamary and prawns. The food is excellent and very well priced. Staff are super friendly, and the dogs living there are very friendly too.

The restaurant serves good main courses for 15k TZS. Breakfast is included and good, and a double bungalow costs around 30-35$. The room has warm water, though the pressure is very low. Staff are friendly, and the location is great, just 20m from the sea, across from Nungwi Dreams hotel. A place backpackers should know about.

I stayed for 3 nights at this nice resort, which has a good price and is around 50m from the beach. There weren't many guests. Smoke coming from the nearby village around 5:00am could be an issue.

The food is excellent, and the location is good, with a short walk to the beach. It’s clean and reasonably priced, though the upkeep could be better. I’d recommend it if you don’t want resort luxury and the exorbitant cost that comes with it.
