Nungwi Backpacker Apartments

We were welcomed so warmly by the friendly owner, and all the staff were kind. The breakfast was great, too. A lovely place to stay in Nungwi, recommended.

We came to Nungwi Backpackers for one night after a disappointing stay somewhere else in the area. Three days later, we're still here, and I'm so glad we came. The hostel has a great vibe, the rooms are clean, and breakfast is more than good. The owners made us feel very welcome and paid attention to the details. They didn't press us for information about our bad experience elsewhere, they just focused on making our stay good. I respect that, less talk and more action. There's a kitchen guests can use, and the staff are super friendly. Mr. Crazy Man is amazing, too. He has great information and always knows how to help or guide guests. We ended up staying two extra nights. It's been a great experience and was definitely worth it. Thank you, and well done!

The host was charming, kind, and helpful, and breakfast was included. The dorms were clean, and the showers had both hot and cold water. I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it to backpackers.

The host, Mr Crazy Man, was always ready to help and very helpful. Homeland Swahili backpackers is a peaceful, budget-friendly place along the road in Nungwi, just a few meters from the beach. Breakfast is delicious, and there's a free kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. It's easy to enjoy the company of fellow travellers here. I'd definitely recommend it to solo travellers and people visiting for the first time.
