Daima deserves special thanks for her warmth and effort at breakfast. The staff are kind and professional, and the team is clearly trying to improve despite some organizational gaps and inflexibility. Kivuli is a beautiful, calm place, especially in low season, with lovely bungalows and a peaceful atmosphere. Some bungalows offer more privacy than others. The surroundings, sea, and location are excellent, and lively areas are still close enough to reach on foot. Overall, a very nice place with great potential.

We've visited this magical place with my family for the third time and will come again. The breakfast is wonderful and the chef is perfect. Kefas is a wonderful guy who treats hotel guests perfectly. The manager should take more interest in guests, ask how they're doing, and see if they need anything. There are lots of staff, so I don't understand why the beach access isn't cleaned like it is at other hotels. It's full of algae and sticks. I recommend visiting!

The restaurant took a very long time with our order. I ordered at 12:30 and the food arrived about two hours later. They didn't provide soap in the room either. When I asked, they gave me only hand wash. The hotel is far from the airport, and the road is very bad. Even with a car, it's hard to drive on.

The resort itself is really beautiful and has so much potential. The evening chef is extremely talented, too, but the restaurant ran out of most meats and seafood on the menu almost every day. Breakfast was another letdown: the chefs couldn't make a simple boiled egg, serving it either raw or extremely overcooked. The staff are extremely lovely, kind, attentive, and I personally can't fault them. But management doesn't put effort into training them. I spent just over a week asking every day for things like toilet paper, complimentary water, tea, and coffee. I asked several times for these to be left in the room daily, but it never happened. During room cleaning, they'd forget to leave toilet paper or take our bath towels without replacing them. Management should work more closely with the team and give them the training they need. It's not their fault if they haven't been trained properly. I really wanted to love this place, but we were left very underwhelmed. This wasn't an easy review to write. I won't recommend it or come back.

The food was excellent, and the Italian manager made us feel at home. Kivuli Beach Resort is true to its name: a shaded, peaceful retreat tucked between trees and the sea. Some reviewers were bothered by the tree cover, but to me that's part of the charm and closeness to nature. The only downside was having no Wi-Fi in the rooms, just the common areas. Everything else made up for it, and this won't be my last visit.
