Our daughter loved every minute, and the peaceful atmosphere felt ideal for a family with a young child. The pool and beach access were lovely, with balls and cards to play with, and every meal had wonderful flavors and a good range of international dishes. The resort felt safe, and the staff's warmth and care made a big difference for us. We were especially grateful to Manjeer (Hotel Manager). He was always around, attentive, and ready to sort things out, make suggestions, or help. Caroline was so kind to our baby and made sure we had what we needed at each meal. Salum was also attentive and kind during meals. Muza (Heritage Tours & Safari) guided us through Stone Town. Born and raised in Zanzibar, he brought the city to life with his knowledge and stories, answering our questions patiently and in detail. Our driver from Heritage Tours & Safari, whose name I unfortunately can't remember, took us on tours and transfers, including the airport trip. He was professional and careful, and we felt safe and relaxed with him. The cleaning team kept everything spotless, took care around mosquito protection, and made our stay more comfortable. Pongwe Bay Resort felt like a beautiful home for our family in Zanzibar, more than just a holiday stay. We felt welcomed and cared for from the moment we arrived with our two-year-old. We loved the whole experience and will definitely return to Zanzibar and Pongwe Bay Resort.

We only stayed two nights, but next time I'd stay longer. There's so much to do in Zanzibar that you can't really experience it all in one day. The place itself is beautiful and very quiet, the food was excellent, and the staff made us feel very welcome.

We booked a day trip with Lillian at the excursions desk, and it was fantastic. The resort itself was peaceful, with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Pongwe is far from most Zanzibar attractions, but it's quiet and you pretty much have the beach to yourself. The food was a bit disappointing, and there wasn't much else to choose from nearby. I'd still recommend staying here.

Pongeway bay resort is a lovely place to slow down and get away from the busy parts of life. The sand is so soft under your feet, and the beach makes you feel connected to nature. The hotel staff and manager gave us immaculate service and made the experience feel personal. It's safe for kids to enjoy the weather and get absorbed in nature, away from phones, TVs, and other gadgets. My kids were sad to leave. Hats off to the sweet, friendly staff. Your efforts are appreciated.

Caroline was especially kind and helpful, and our one-year-old absolutely loved her. The staff made us feel at home and looked after us so well. We stayed at Pongwe Bay Resort from June 24th to 29th, traveling with my wife and our baby, and everything exceeded our expectations. It's a peaceful, picturesque spot, just right for a relaxing family getaway. Every meal, from breakfast through dinner, was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. For the price, the service, comfort, and meals were superb, all in a beautiful setting. I'd recommend it to couples, families, or anyone wanting to unwind in a tropical paradise. We'll definitely be back!
