The food was light and tasty, and the whole experience was amazing. They took care of the details in our room and arranged activities, including making a fire for us on the beach. You can kayak on the lagoon. The lodge sits by a beautiful lagoon, and sleeping to the sounds of nature and the sea was a special experience for me in Africa. A lovely choice for couples or anyone looking to rest.

The staff and management were friendly, helpful, and very good. I found this to be one of the best lodges I’ve visited on the Tanzanian coast. The beaches are long and pleasant, with clean water and some snorkeling spots, and the hotel rents gear. There are kayaks for use on the small freshwater lagoon too. A very relaxing spot for a couple of nights.
