The view was nice. That’s about it. The room AC didn’t work, though they moved us to another room that was better, if still not very effective. Google Maps gives misleading directions on the approach road, so ask for directions along the way if you don’t want to get lost. Breakfast needs serious improvement. There were no protein options, not even eggs, just flavorless flour pancakes and white bread toast that had been made much earlier. I hated it.

Service was slow and poor, and the menu had few choices with little variety. The food was overpriced and charged in dollars instead of shillings. On Christmas Day, there were no desserts after dinner, not ice cream, cake, pastries, anything. That was especially disappointing. Breakfast took ages too. There was no cereal, only eggs and fruit, and coffee took over 15 minutes to reach the table. The rooms had tea but no coffee packets for guests to make their own in the morning. The outdoor pool had dead crabs at the bottom and seemed to lack regular maintenance and cleaning. Children were already swimming there, which felt unhygienic and like a health risk. The AC in cottage 1 wasn’t working properly and didn’t cool the room enough. For a resort this far away, the stay wasn’t good value for the money.

The beach is nice and private, and the pools were clean. The place itself is clean and peaceful, and the service was very good. The food was also very good, though it could be prepared sooner so it arrives on time. I recommend it.

The showers need better water pressure. Otherwise, the atmosphere, location, and service were excellent, and the staff were very friendly and always helpful.
