The food was tasty, and the property is in a very good location. A few practical things could be better: getting luggage to the rooms is awkward because the path from the main building is sandy. There’s no landline connection between rooms and the hotel, and internet is only available in the main building. Wi-Fi in the rooms would be appreciated.

The setting was peaceful and had a nice atmosphere, with a lovely pool, though it’s a bit of a walk from the jetty. We drove there and I’d recommend having a car while you stay. We spotted one of the biggest, best baobab trees I’ve seen. I took a photo beside it and looked like a mouse, even though I’m over six feet tall.

The kitchen service was extremely slow, and the bungalows could use some refreshing. Also, day visitors are allowed to use the pool, which unfortunately brings screaming kids. If you’re hoping for a quiet, relaxing stay, forget it. On the good side, the bungalows are really spacious, the grounds and location are excellent, and the staff are lovely and helpful.

We had a memorable holiday here with friends. Our sea-facing room was spacious, clean, and well equipped, and the service was excellent. The resort itself is beautiful and peaceful, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Special thanks to Peter and Elizabeth 👍🏼. Amani Beach Resort is one of the best beach resorts I’ve visited so far.

You can see the ocean right from your room, and the location is lovely. The only snag was that there was no Wi-Fi or TV, so it’s a chance to enjoy nature.
