Christina House

The dinner Christina cooked was delicious and authentic, and the soup was 10/10. After a very long trip, a friend and I were welcomed in quickly. Christina and her team were generous and accommodating throughout our stay. We loved it, especially at that price. It was a beyond excellent experience.

We stayed in the newest rooms, and they were huge. There would've been plenty of space to lay out climbing gear or repack for a trip. The staff were kind and accommodating, and even made meals just for us. A really pleasant stay.

I paid for a Deluxe Double Room but was assigned a basic room instead. The online photos show the deluxe rooms, though the property also has basic ones. They then claimed I didn't want the room I'd booked and wanted to stay with another group. Why pay extra if I wasn't going to get the nicer room? The shower leaked the next morning, flooding both the bathroom and bedroom. There was no hot water during my stay, and the pressure was extremely low. When I raised these problems, the owner was rude rather than helpful and threatened to sue me if I posted an honest review. I found that unprofessional and intimidating. No guest should be made to feel threatened by a property owner.

We've stayed here several times and will definitely return. It's a lovely place, with wonderful accommodation and kind service.
