We had to change rooms because the AC didn’t work, and the toilet wouldn’t flush. In the morning they refused to give us breakfast, saying we’d paid a discounted rate, even though we’d specifically asked about it when paying and were told it was included. They’d also told us the breakfast time when we asked. Then they claimed they hadn’t said that, but they were lying. There were three of us, including one Tanzanian, who asked them in Swahili. We aren’t tourists and had planned to stay here every time we visited Dar, but not after being lied to. Management should know that cheating guests is a bad business model.
