From the roof, we enjoyed sunset views and morning coffee. The breakfast staff were great, though the other staff didn’t seem very interested. The location makes it easy to reach the historic town, food market, and taxi pickup, but being by the port and ferry terminal means it can be noisy during the day. I’m giving four stars because the mattress badly needed replacing. We also returned twice to find our door unlocked. Nothing was missing, but it was still concerning.

The room was clean and had air conditioning, and the location was great for seeing all of Stonetown. The only problem was that using the kettle kept tripping the breaker and cutting the electricity.

A lovely quiet place tucked away in Stone Town, with beautifully decorated rooms and what felt like five-star facilities. We stayed two days and really enjoyed it. The sunset view was lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Firodhani park and the other Stone Town landmarks are within walking distance, and the ferry terminal is just across the road. This will be my place to stay when I visit Zanzibar again.

The location is really convenient for the sights around Stonetown, including the oceanfront. It’s a good option if you want a budget hotel near town, with bed and breakfast only. Service was very good, and management was helpful. One unusual detail: the beds are made of stone, and I needed time to get used to the mattresses.

The hotel looks nice, and the rooms are pleasant. The staff are good and take care of their guests. There’s also a nice spot to watch the sunset. I’d come back.
