The location is great, and the staff and general atmosphere felt welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and enough, even if the portions weren’t large. For the price, it’s a good deal. My single room was small but fine for one person, with cute decor and air conditioning that worked perfectly. The hot water was only warm. There were a few tiny flies, mostly in the shower, and while the bed had a mosquito net, the shower without a door might make some people uncomfortable.

There was a nice historical feel to the place, and I had a great stay. My room was clean and had all the amenities I needed. The staff were friendly too.

The Deluxe Single Room is on the small side, but it has what you need. The air conditioning and fan both work really well, so cooling off and getting some rest when it’s hot is easy. The staff were very hospitable.

I was glad this was a solo trip, because for a honeymoon the room would have been a disaster. It felt more like a prison cell from another century than a hotel room, with no windows or air conditioning. The mattress was hard, and the wardrobe was just a worn wooden box without shelves. For two days, room service didn’t change the towels or leave even one bottle of water. The hotel may be a hundred years old, but that doesn’t excuse the dilapidated furniture. 😓
