The villa made our stay feel special: it was private, beautifully designed, and pure luxury. We were upgraded to one to our delight. The team also went far beyond the usual to celebrate my birthday. The little surprises felt personal and heartfelt, and every detail seemed considered. The staff made me feel incredibly special, something I’ll always remember. Zuri Zanzibar is a breathtaking resort with a serene atmosphere and outstanding care from the team. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, thoughtful, and exceptional. We had an incredible, unforgettable stay and can’t wait to return. ✨🌴

A quiet tropical garden with palms, flowers, and baobab trees gives the place an oasis-like feel. The bungalows and villas are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, with lovely outdoor areas to relax in. Zuri Zanzibar sits right beside a beautiful white-sand beach, and the clear turquoise water is great for swimming all day. The food was excellent, and the restaurants had delicious choices in a stylish but relaxed setting. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. Nature, comfort, and great service all came together for a memorable stay. I highly recommend it.

The excursions were all private, and our drivers and guides were engaged and full of information. The Stone Town and Prison Island tour gave us great cultural insight into Zanzibar’s history. We felt safe throughout, with Maasai providing security on the property. There were other Maasai vendors on the beach, but resort staff made sure they respected our space and the property. The standalone bungalows each had an outdoor shower, deck, and hammock. The pool was large and mostly empty. The oceanfront grounds were pristine and beautifully maintained, though the free roaming snails are worth mentioning. The main dining area rotated through food from around the world. It has a beautiful boutique feel, and if you want an African vacation where everyone works to make it memorable, Zuri Zanzibar is the place. I’d go back without a second thought.

It felt luxurious without any pretension, and the high standard came with a relaxed atmosphere. The food was incredibly delicious and high quality, and the teams across every department were friendly. Wonderful hotel and facilities. I’m planning to come back, and definitely recommend it.

We loved the beach right in front of the resort, and every meal felt fresh and exciting because the cuisine changed each day. The food was outstanding, and our room was beautiful. We stayed at Zuri for our honeymoon and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. An easy 10/10. We’d choose it again without hesitation.
