The only real drawback was the shared toilet and shower in a separate building, though that’s part of staying in Zatoka. The shared kitchen was well equipped, and we often made our own meals. Our cozy room had good mattresses, a kettle, and a fridge, and each room had a table on the terrace among the vineyards, a nice place to cool down in the heat. The hosts were super, and we’d love to come back. We were lucky in August and saw the sea glowing with plankton at night, an unforgettable sight, and for some reason it was only on this stretch of beach. There’s a shop across the street, the sea is just a two-minute walk away, and you can jump in for a morning swim instead of taking a long time to get ready for the shower. The center, evening entertainment, and market are an easy ten-minute walk.
