The cozy feel, good food, and welcoming staff made this a stay I really enjoyed. I’d definitely recommend it and would come back!

We grilled shashlik on the summer terrace, and the rooms were quiet, nicely designed, and clean, with a garden just outside the window. We stayed here for two days, June 16-17, and were pleased with everything. The restaurant serves Ukrainian national cuisine, and we liked the service there. We ordered dinner while on the way and had a tasty breakfast the next morning. We travel a lot, and finding this place in Ukraine was a lovely surprise. It felt like a little escape from the dusty city, and the service and room setup were better than we expected for a motel in Borshna village. I’ll tell my friends about it, and I’ll come back myself.

The prices were a great part of the meal. Dinner for four adults came to 570 hryvnia, and we were so full we figured we wouldn’t be getting up from the table anytime soon. We didn’t stay at the motel, just ate at the restaurant on the ground floor. The food is proper home cooking, with nothing fancy on the menu, but it brought back childhood memories. The oven-baked potatoes with meat and the oven-braised cabbage soup reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking. The pork steaks were incredibly tasty and made from very fresh meat, and the uzvar (a stew made with vegetables) was their own. The potato pancakes looked beautiful, too. Portions were big, the ingredients were very fresh, and everything tasted incredibly good. The staff were so warm and homey, like relatives arriving and being fed as soon as they walked in.

The portions are large, and the food is really tasty. I’m not sure if they have an oven, but the dishes tasted like they’d just come out of one. The employees were friendly and responsible. The cafe is cheap and very good, I recommend it to everyone.

The thin walls and creaky floors were a problem. You could hear people walking around in the next room. There was no kitchen, and not even a place to get tea. Since there wasn’t a single store open in the village, we had to drive to Pryluky for dinner. The rooms were spacious and had a TV, refrigerator, hairdryer in the bathroom, and a range of shampoos. The motel grounds were large and green, parking was plentiful, and there were surveillance cameras and Wi-Fi. Otherwise, things were fine.
