Galant Hotel

We were running late for our flight and called Galant hotel to stay the night. It's near Boryspil airport and usually has an airport taxi shuttle, though we didn't use it. The receptionist was lovely and helpful, and gave us a very decent room at a fair price. The facilities were great, the room was clean, and the bathroom floor was heated. We got more than we could have asked for. Highly recommend if you're stuck at the airport.

We only stayed one night, and it was fine. The room and bathroom were clean, and being close to the airport was useful even though it's outside the center. Late check-in was possible, which was great. Sadly, there was no air conditioning.

2018/07/13, Tamatabi. I'm traveling by bicycle, and the hotel was very easy to find. I paid 680 UAH for a room without a bathroom, which felt very expensive to me. Still, I couldn't find a cheaper hotel near the airport.

I booked three days ahead and sent them a few questions, but they only replied and confirmed the reservation at 7:37 pm on the day I was due to arrive. A little later, I politely asked to cancel because my flight had a big unexpected delay and we wouldn't have time to get to the hotel before our next flight. They wouldn't work with me. It felt like they saw a chance to make easy money instead of accommodating a customer. Response time and customer service were both poor.
