Nikol Guest House

Great place to stay, and you get perfect value for your money 👍

We picked this hotel on purpose because breakfast was supposed to be included, but it wasn’t available when we needed it. They only start serving at 8:30, the same time the lifts open, so by the time you get there, eat, and change, you’re left skiing on broken tracks. The receptionist spoke rather rudely and said this was clearly explained everywhere, but I checked Booking and couldn’t find that information. They said we could collect breakfast the night before and heat it ourselves in the morning, but if you don’t show up right at 20:00, you get no breakfast. That’s really inconvenient. The breakfast itself was very basic, just three cheesecakes. The rooms were warm, at least.

The hotel was definitely 10/10 for price and quality, and we’d be happy to stay again. We spent three days in Bukovel and didn’t run into a single problem. They make breakfast when you ask, the breakfasts are good, and questions get sorted out within minutes. They also have their own equipment rental, though we didn’t use it, so I can’t comment on the quality. It’s a very cool, cozy hotel with great service.

We had a wonderful break and came away feeling recharged. The place is scenic all around, and the hotel itself is cozy, clean, and tidy. Breakfast is included and the food is tasty. It’s easiest to stay here if you have your own car, though there’s also a regular shuttle. Thanks for the lovely welcome.
