The hotel sits up a steep hill, so you’ll need to walk it. It can be tiring after skiing, though it’s manageable. The room was luxurious, with a brilliant mountain view, and the staff were nice. They also let us leave our bags at reception after checkout, which helped. Downstairs there’s a spa with a pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Bath robes are included, so you can go straight from your room to the spa. The restaurant is reasonably priced, with good beer and great pizza.

The spa was awful, with so much chlorine that I was crying and ended up with an eye allergy. The breakfast was also terrible. We waited ages, only to find it had been made ahead and kept in the fridge. When you’re hungry, reheated eggs from a microwave are all you get. Our bathroom wasn’t clean, and there were no bathrobes or slippers. The towels had yellow spots that looked like someone had taken a dump on them. The soundproofing was unbearable, and the staff were too few to keep up, about three waiters, apparently because the owners wanted to save money even in high season. Service was very shi**. I stayed two nights, and it was the worst experience ever.

The food was great, and you can rent skis or snowboards here. Getting to the place can be tricky when it’s snowing since it’s up a very steep hill.

The rooms are simple, and there were blood spots on the sheets. The food was the worst, with hair and worms in it. The hotel is high up on a hill, which makes getting there difficult.

The rooms are cozy, with a lovely view of the Carpathian Mountains. There’s a good restaurant, and the staff do excellent work. Great service and people.
