Apartments On Zaliznychna 49

The bathroom had a strong unpleasant smell, so I kept its door shut and ran the fan just to get some decent air. The doors to the room and on the floor were also hard to open. I had to figure out a particular way to press the handles. Getting in touch with the admin was difficult. I booked through booking and tried calling from several numbers, including on Viber, but couldn't reach them in time. They also took a long time to reply in chat. Eventually the admin called back and guided me to the room over the phone. At checkout I again waited a long time to ask where to leave the keys, since the listing didn't say. Payment at the room was cash only. I couldn't transfer it to a card because the admin had a card limit. After I left a 3/10 rating on booking, the owner contacted me on Viber. They pointed out that cash payment was stated and said lots of numbers had been calling, but didn't apologize for the poor service. They also claimed I should have received a booking discount. I'd used a discount in the mobile app, which shouldn't apply to paying for my reservation on the spot. I changed my rating to 1. I really don't recommend these apartments, and hope the owners hire more staff to improve the service.
