Maxima Mini-Hotel

Kamyanets itself is beautiful, but I don’t understand the five star reviews for this hotel. It barely deserves three. We paid 900 UAH for the room. We travel often and have stayed in places at this price before, so I have comparisons. We booked the day before arrival for a weekend, when there wasn’t much choice, and maybe that’s how we ended up here. The room and bathroom were clean, the linen was fresh and white, and there was a kettle, cups, glasses, and a hair dryer. But the towels smelled unpleasant. There was no dining table, slippers, air conditioning, or refrigerator, and the room felt like a bathhouse. The shower was a separate problem: the pressure was so weak we wondered if we could wash, and the water kept changing from cold to hot. I barely managed to wash my child. Opening the window meant dealing with road noise, and you could hear everything. There’s no cafe nearby for breakfast, so you have to go looking, and the Booking checkout time says 12:00 even though they actually require you to leave by 11:00. Hope things improve so you don’t lose your guests 👋

It’s fine for a one night stay, but having to ring every time you need someone to open the shared entrance door is inconvenient. Please make a duplicate key for guests. If I need something from the car at night, would I have to keep waking someone up to let me back in?

It’s a quiet, peaceful spot in Kamianets-Podilskyi, with a clean, cozy room and the basic amenities. There’s no refrigerator, though. The administrator was especially courteous and happy to tell us about all the tourist locations.

Our stay at Maxima Hotel left a lovely impression. The breakfast menu was delicious and varied, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, freshly renovated, and had everything we needed. It’s a cozy, tidy, stylish hotel where the details feel carefully thought through. The staff were polite and always ready to help make our stay comfortable.
