Old Town Guest House

This really is a guest house, so you’re staying in someone’s home for a fee, which worked out just fine. The street is paved, but parking seemed limited. If you’re driving, you can park near Virmenska ratusha. Local drivers didn’t know where the house was, so look for the attractive greenish building with no sign. Arrive on time or let the hosts know when you’ll be there. You leave your shoes at the door and switch to slippers, and they give you a key to the house. The host offers the nicest available rooms and may cook breakfast if she’s in the mood. I chose to eat in town so I’d have more time to sightsee. Our room was lovely and warm enough. December wasn’t very cold that year. The hosts were really nice, and we’re grateful for our stay.

Right in the old town, with a little parking area of its own. The price was fair, and there’s a kitchen, fridge, washing machine, plus a lovely terrace with a barbecue.

Such a lovely host, and very accommodating.

For the price, it’s a good place.
