Hotel Hottey

Nice hotel.

We stayed in room 9 and were very pleased. It was clean, cozy, and bright, with good bed linen and luxurious towels. The air conditioner worked well, and the room had everything we needed: a kettle, cups, tea, water, shampoo, and slippers. The small hotel also has a sauna and a gated courtyard planted with roses and other flowers.

The mattress was really comfortable, and the room was clean and in a handy location. We also had slippers, a kettle, and a couple of tea bags with sugar. The reception girls were very nice, and it was a lovely surprise to find champagne waiting in our superior suite. The TV had internet, which I found convenient, and there was a painting of an important event. I didn't want to dwell on the downsides, but they matter. We brought a rubbish bag because the tiny bin in the toilet couldn't hold everything. There was only one place to plug things in, by the little table under the TV, and nowhere near the bed. There wasn't a proper table or any chairs either, so we moved the sofa over to use the nightstand. It was soft enough, but a larger table that could be moved would have helped. There were no lamps by the bed, just the bright main light, and the TV glow didn't make the room feel cozy. The toilet was right in the room with no corridor, and there was no air conditioner there.

I really want to come back here. I've stayed in hotels in Germany and France, but this one won me over with how cozy it felt. It's also the quietest and most comfortable hotel I've seen. The staff were warm and helpful, and kept checking that we had everything we needed. The furniture was new, the bedding and pillows were wonderful, and the hot water was incredibly hot. Breakfast is available to order if you want it.
