Royal Hotel De Paris

Over my six nights there, the carpet in my room was never cleaned, and neither the towels nor the bed linen were changed. I had to ask several times for liquid soap and toilet paper. There was noise late into the night from the neighboring nightclubs, along with customers' cackling and shouting as they set themselves apart for sexual appointments. I’ll never return. It’s unworthy.

Inna at reception was the bright spot: helpful, efficient, professional, and welcoming. The room itself was OK, but much too small, even for a De Lux room, and felt claustrophobic. The place is very noisy, with clubs right outside, and it seems to lack regular maintenance. Cleanliness in the room is an issue too. This accommodation feels somewhat pretentious.

If all you want is to party, this is the perfect spot. For sleep, there’s nothing good about it. Skybar is terribly loud, until 4am on weekdays and 6am Thurs-Saturday. Otherwise, it’s just a beautiful museum.

The hotel, its location, and the staff are good, but the nightclubs play really loud music every night, even during the week, and it kept waking me up. Bring earplugs and hope you manage to sleep.
