There are plenty of conveniences nearby, and the place was comfortable to stay in. A special mention to the front desk ladies, particularly Svetlana, who had only just started while we were there. They put in long days and still keep everything clean through the blackouts. They deserve a raise.

Everything was clean and in order, with two shared toilets and two shared showers. The showers are in one room behind a glass door that locks from the inside, and each has a curtain. The staff were nice, though they didn’t speak English. It stayed fairly quiet and I didn’t see many other guests, but I could hear people passing by, and sounds from the hall and other rooms carried right through. My room got quite hot in summer, and the windows wouldn’t open all the way. Still, it was an easy, low-cost place to sleep for a night before heading out in the morning.

The woman at reception was wonderful. I was sick, and she looked after me like a mother. I’m so grateful.
