I had to wait outside the room for about 5 or 10 minutes while they stripped the beds and put on fresh linen, so they weren't ready for me when I arrived. The bathroom was small, generally unclean, and stacked with chairs. The staff also made me uncomfortable. I don't speak Ukrainian, and they seemed impatient and unwelcoming. A very disappointing stay, and I wouldn't go back.

It's a cozy, clean place in a quiet area, even with a hostel nearby. The window view was lovely, though I forgot to save a photo. The rooms are non-smoking, with smoking allowed only outside. Breakfast can be ordered to the room, and staff won't come in without warning or being asked. You do have to leave your key when you go out, to prevent it getting lost. Public transport is 3-5 minutes away, and ATB is about a kilometer down the road. The hotel is around 6-7 km from Khreshchatyk. On New Year's Eve, a taxi from the central Christmas tree cost 70 UAH, which seemed more than reasonable.

The room was fairly spacious and comfortable, but the towels were obviously old and very faded from washing. The receptionist spoiled the stay for me. She didn't greet us, was rude when answering questions, and explained nothing. I definitely don't want to come back because of her.
