The rules are terrible, and the administrator simply doesn't know how to talk to people. They shouldn't be working with people at all. I'd choose somewhere more expensive with decent conditions and a humane attitude instead.

For Kyiv, I think this is luxury for ridiculous money. It's right in the center, near Europe's deepest metro, with two parks close by. It can be so quiet, with birds and no fuss. I barely saw my roommates, whether they were out walking or working. The renovation isn't exactly European-style, but it's comfortable enough for sleeping before heading to work. The hostel's strict rules probably explain why everything is so clean and tidy. Respect to the administration, this fuss is a good option.

There's a handy kitchen with everything you need, and the mattresses are orthopedic. The hostel stays neat and tidy, with the administrator keeping an eye on cleanliness. It's in a quiet area beside the metro, set back from the road so there's no traffic noise. Everything is great!

I've been staying here for two months, mostly on weekends when work brings me to Kyiv. The rooms come in 10, 8, 6, and 4 bed sizes. It's quiet, and people are nice and considerate of everyone else's sleep. There's also a kitchen and washing machine. The renovation isn't quite European-style, but the place is comfortable for sleeping before work. I find the prices very, very reasonable. I'll stay here again next time. ❤
