Z-Apartments

The room was basic, but comfortable, and the bed was good. The pillows were much too thick for me, though. It was cleaned perfectly, and the price felt fair for what you get. The staff were kind, but their English was very limited. The rooms could use blackout curtains, and there was a constant humming outside the windows that I couldn't identify. It kept bothering me even with the windows shut and earplugs in. I also would've preferred a shower cubicle to the bathtub. The surrounding area felt run-down, and I wish the private rooms and hostel had more of a connection, with activities or shared facilities.

There are some nice, cozy restaurants within about 500 m, and an Uber ride to the city center takes roughly 10 minutes and costs around 100 hryvnias/€3. The staff were friendly, the place was very clean, and you can buy bottled water there. The beds were comfortable, if a bit narrow at 80-90 cm. The walls are thin, so earplugs are a good idea. Staff speak very basic English, and a translation app helps. I'd definitely stay here again.

I was staying at the hotel next door and wanted to go inside, but the receptionist at z apartments was very rude. The staff member wasn't polite at all.

The lady at reception was really nice, and the place was very clean. I'd definitely recommend it.
