Budget Hotel Ekotel

It’s very cheap accommodation on the sixth floor of a building. The walls are really thin, so it can get noisy during the day. Our private bathroom had hot water. The staff speak a little English.

The rooms didn’t have bathrooms, which made for a horrible experience. They offered us free coffee in the morning, but when I asked the receptionist for sugar and milk, there weren’t any in the kitchen. She said they’d get some after 12p.m., so we got nothing. We had to make coffee in a cup, and there wasn’t any coffee machine. I definitely won’t recommend this place.

The front desk woman was very friendly and polite, and I liked the green views from the rooms. The hostel is right across from the students park, and I didn’t hear much street noise with the windows open. There are plenty of spacious rooms, with regular beds rather than bunks. It was the lowest price I could find in Lviv. I’ve stayed at a lot of hostels in the city, and this ekotel is a great fit if you want a quiet, spacious room for the lowest price around. The only possible downside is the location if you want to be right in the very center, though it’s still walkable to .

I expected a hostel, but they gave me a decent hotel room for the cheapest price in Lviv. Excellent accommodation for such a minimal price.
