We had to find somewhere else to sleep after arriving at 11:30pm. There was nobody at the hostel, the lights were off and the door was locked, even though the website and the door both said reception was open 24 hours. No one answered when we called the number listed online and on the door. We went back the next morning, but it was still exactly the same, with no sign the hostel was open. We had booked one night, but it seems this place may no longer be operating while still accepting bookings. Do not book!

The owner was flexible and the personnel were great. It's a very good hostel with what you need for a couple of nights while visiting the wonderful old city of Lviv, the Western Capitol if Ukraine.

The hostel itself is clean and nice, but the staff were awful. They were brazen, arrogant and rude, and even mocked people. The kitchen worker, who was apparently a cook, was completely out of line, threatening guests and speaking rudely to their faces. At reception, they looked guests up and down with open displeasure and ridicule. They even threatened to beat you up, then stood there laughing in your face. It's a shady business, and the whole thing was a shock. I've never seen anything like it.
