I couldn't even wait inside for my room, despite having a booking. They left me out in minus two degree weather, freezing, while it was being prepared. There is a kitchen, but I wasn't allowed in there either. The Hostel manager doesn't cooperate with guests. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone in Lviv. DREAM Hostel in the center had lovely people, great rooms, and a really friendly atmosphere.
The bathroom had an unpleasant smell, and there was just one bathroom and toilet for everyone. The kitchen was tiny, and the owner was ironing there while I tried to cook, which made it difficult. Noise was the bigger problem: the railway is only about 10 meters from the window, and you can hear people walking overhead.
This felt like an uncomfortable flat, not an actual hostel. The bathroom was small and smelled bad, and the kitchen had room for only one table. The owner was always sitting at that table, so there wasn't anywhere to eat in the kitchen. The railway runs right outside the windows, and footsteps from upstairs went on all night.
The train tracks are only about 10 meters away, so it's really noisy. And if someone sharing your room comes back drunk, you're in for a very long night.
Avoid this place. The staff were rude and didn't speak English, and there isn't even a sign outside to show that it's a hostel.
