I’ve stayed here several times because it feels like a retreat from the sterile minimalism of modern hotels. The place has real character, with a quiet, mysterious atmosphere and a late 70s brutalist design that looks beautifully faded, as if time left it untouched. It’s like stepping into a preserved piece of design history, and there’s something soulful and substantial about it. Anyone interested in architecture might especially enjoy that. The front desk staff have often seemed overworked and visibly stressed, which makes me think the hotel may be understaffed. There are some rough edges, but for its authentic style and character, I find it close to perfect.

I was here in December 2024 and couldn’t figure out why the hotel is so underrated. The staff are nice, the rooms are clean, and it’s close to pretty much everything you might need. I’m sure I’ll come back.

I’ve been living here as a student for 2 years. It’s affordable, and being right in the middle of town means you get a nice balcony view. But the heaters don’t work, and only 1 of the 4 elevators has been working for 1.5 years.

Absolutely horrid. Only book this if every other hotel in town has burned to the ground. The photo is supposed to show a recently restored Double Business room. Well, Double Business in my face. It’s worse than Economy, but costs as much as a Lux suite.
