Grün Hof Militray-Sadyba

Really great place.

We arrived as a group of 16 for a three-day birthday celebration, and the staff looked after us from the start. They welcomed and fed us right away, had the sauna heated, and took us to Shipot Waterfall. Breakfast was on time the next morning. The staff arranged a full-day bus trip to Synevyr National Park and a visit to the Kolochava Open-Air Museum. That evening there was a birthday dinner, including delicious raspberry liqueur they made. On day three they organized and accompanied us to the Pylypetc Bike Park cable car, then showed us the ancient Church of the Holy Spirit and its bell tower, built around three centuries ago without nails, with a unique 1784 iconostasis. I also got a personal gift of several jars of homemade jam and feta cheese. The staff at the Grün Hof Military Estate arranged our rides to and from the train station. There's free parking and good Wi-Fi. The rooms are spacious, with extra beds available for children. There are playgrounds, barbecues, and tables where you can enjoy time together under supervision. I'm grateful to all the hotel staff and recommend it for a great weekend in this part of the Carpathians.

We came for mushrooms and some rest, and got far more than planned. Mr. Komendant was very hospitable, met us, settled us in, and helped arrange all sorts of things: transport, vats, a guide, a mushroom picker, fishing, and more. It's a gorgeous estate, with a courtyard and a military theme throughout, almost like a museum, and you can look around if you like. The Transcarpathian food and drinks were delicious and interesting. There was thematic music, a bathhouse, field kitchen, children's playground, swing bench, and parking. The mountains, forests, rivers, romantic slopes, berries, and mushrooms were stunning. Of all the mountains I've seen, this was the most beautiful place, and Guklyvy is such a pleasant village. Mr. Komendant tells stories, leads excursions, and helps plan your time as needed. We had a 300% rest and recommend it. We'll return with our parents and tell our friends. It's five minutes by car from the railway station, almost in the center of Transcarpathia, with everything nearby. There's Wi-Fi, and the walls are covered with thank-you notes for a good stay. Mobile internet works in the forest and mountains. Have a great rest, everyone!

What a great place, with all the amenities and a warm, welcoming feel. The staff are friendly and treat you like friends and companions, not staff. Rooms are fairly clean and warm, with lots of outlets, Wi-Fi, and extra heaters. There's a laundry room, mini-cinema, restaurant, private bathhouse, ping-pong table, and shooting wall. If you need something else, they can rent it to you, from rubber boots for mushroom picking to bicycles, tents, and camping gear. The Transcarpathian and Hungarian food is very tasty. If you're trying banosh, bograch, and berry infusions for the first time, Mr. Yevgen, the owner, makes them to his own recipe. The place is stylized, and there's no shortage of slopes, forests, and mountains. I don't think you'll find this atmosphere elsewhere. I recommend it) Marek
