I paid a budget rate, and the breakfast that came with the room was acceptable for the price. The mattress was springy and gave my sore back some welcome relief. The place is clean and comfortable enough for a short work stay if noise doesn't bother you, but my night in room 104 was a nightmare. The rooftop bar noise was unbearable, with revellers carrying on until midnight. Two stars because they haven't done enough to reduce noise for guests staying there.

The rooftop gives you lovely city views, and it's a great place to sit back and relax. Staff are helpful and friendly, and the Wi-Fi is among the fastest in town.

The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and set apart from the guest-only chilling areas. From the rooftop you get beautiful views of Gulu city, and the staff and food are nice too. Being right in the city center also makes it easy to get to.

There are live games on Dstv, with cold alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy. The rooftop is well designed and gives you a view across the whole city, right from the heart of Gulu City. The atmosphere is great, the room service is good, and the accommodation has warm water.
