Bellevue Hotel

The service was very bad, and one staff member in particular, an older man working the night shift, behaved very badly. I asked management to improve things.

Hotel Bellevue is handy for getting around Jinja, right on Kutch Road and only a short walk from Central Market. It can work well if you're watching your budget, with affordable self-contained single, double, and twin rooms. The rooms have TVs, piped hot water, and semi-private showers; Wi-Fi and continental breakfast are included. There's also a 24-hour front desk, restaurant and bar/lounge, room service, free self-parking, and limo or town-car service. The building is old, though, and guests have mentioned uncomfortable beds, faulty fans, and dated bathrooms. Some felt the quality didn't match the price, and the rooms can lack modern updates or extra comfort. One review mentioned a lost laptop and weak locks, so keep valuables close. Service is friendly, but comfort seems to vary. It makes most sense for a short stay if location matters more than luxury, especially if you'll be out exploring Nile-side attractions. Bring a power bank or fan if room comfort is important to you.

The location was peaceful and scenic, and I found the rooms cozy and clean, a comfortable place to come back to after a long day. From arrival, I was welcomed warmly and professionally. I enjoyed the breakfast choices each morning, and the amenities were top notch. I had a fantastic stay at Bellevue hotel and would recommend it to anyone after a delightful getaway.

It's easy to reach, just past the main road.
