There are frequent power cuts, though they don't seem to be the hotel's fault. The generator can keep things going late into the night. It may not earn many stars, but around Kaabong it's probably the best value for money right now.

The location feels secure and well chosen, which helps guests feel their lives and property are safe. KAABONG RESORT HOTEL also offers accommodation, a recreation ground, a warm welcome, and plenty of food from different sources. Visit and see what makes it special for yourself.

That balcony off the dining room is lovely in the morning sun. The kitchen is another place I could happily spend hours, eating pizza, chicken, or fish. I was in Kaabong District for work recently, after a very long drive through villages and rural areas, and my first trip so far from Kampala. Arriving here gave me a feeling of being at home. The receptionists are friendly and quick to sort out problems. The rooms look good, are clean and furnished well, and feel comfortable, though the beds are hard 😄. Maybe that stretches your back, at least. I won't get into a few other details, but it's a good place to get away.

It's peaceful here, and being a little way from town makes the view even better. I had a very pleasant stay, with a pretty, well-equipped room. I'd like to come back and see the tent rooms that are under construction, and perhaps a pool next year. One of the best hotels in Kaabong.
