The lake house was cozy and comfortable, with a balcony right over the water where we could enjoy the view and swim. Andrew made organising everything easy and clear over WhatsApp, and arranged both the taxi and the boat for our arrival. Joseph made us feel at home with his meals, kindness, and good conversations. We loved staying at OM hostel and would love to return. If you can, bring a book to donate to their community library. Thank you!
Joseph made sure we felt at home and went out of his way to help us explore the lake. He’s such a friendly, outstanding host. We had an absolutely amazing stay in this beautiful, charming place and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
The food was quite bad and expensive, 20k for a meal, and there aren't any other options nearby. Still, we loved the peaceful atmosphere during our two nights at OM hostel. Joseph was really nice and did all he could to make us comfortable. The place is very simple, which was totally fine for us.

We loved how quiet it was by the lake and the direct lake view from the cottage we rented. Andrew and Joseph were kind and helped with everything we needed. They’re also working on a library for locals and travellers, and plan to build a museum honoring local culture. If you're travelling there, bring some books to leave :)
