The apartment was dirty and the area was horrible. The sheets were dirty, there were smells and stains on the bed. There’s no shower, so you literally have to use a telephone faucet. The staff were the worst.

The water pressure is terrible, so you’ll need to bathe with a bucket while you’re here. I also think it’s very unfortunate that the owners pushed out tenants who were paying rent to turn the whole property into an Airbnb for short stays. Putting people on the street to make a profit isn’t great, and neither is doing that in a residential neighborhood.

I had a very nice stay at Leonia, and the hospitality was much appreciated. If you’re heading to Kampala, I’d suggest trying the apartment. They certainly didn’t disappoint me. Thanks, and I’ll come back.
