The rooms are spacious and have the usual things, and the service was friendly and good. Still, the hotel feels average and needs maintenance and a more up-to-date look. There are no insect screens on the windows, which is strange, and barely anywhere in the room to work. I’d skip the restaurant food, it was barely edible.

The road to this hotel in Kampala City is under construction at the moment. During my stay, the room rates went up twice, the Wi-Fi was unreliable, and electricity kept cutting out. The generator could also be switched off without warning. Payment is accepted in Uganda shillings if you use cash, but card payments are only accepted in dollars.

Such a unique hotel, and the care and service were more pleasant than anything I’ve experienced before. I don’t regret making it my first choice. Anyone choosing a top priority shouldn’t think twice about this one 💥💥

Service was generally good, though there’s room to improve. At breakfast, some buffet labels were missing, and the coffee in the container didn’t match the brand named on its label.

I was there for a meeting. The meeting room bathrooms were OK, there weren’t many people around, and lunch was good. With lots of new buildings in the neighborhood, there seemed to be limited space for driving.
