For 75, I expected better service. Breakfast was very poor, with few choices, and the coffee machine was broken. There was noise late at night and traffic noise early in the morning. The air conditioning was okay, but the bathroom needs updating, perhaps with a shower curtain or glass panels. Staff could use more training. On the positive side, they found my water bottle and kept it safe for me.

The rooms are roomy and clean, and the service is spectacular. I loved the atmosphere and the absolutely delicious food. For a chance to relax, read a novel, or feel at home away from home, excelsis garden hotel is definitely the place.

The restaurant serves good quality food. I recommend the fish fillet with a glass of wine, though I found it odd that desserts aren't on the menu. A full course meal comes to around 50,000 Ugandan Shillings per person. The rooms are clean and well kept, and the staff are friendly and supportive. The charming garden makes this a lovely spot to unwind.

The room was comfortable and clean, with a lovely view of the gardens, and the breakfast buffet offered plenty of delicious choices. The hotel's peaceful gardens made a nice break from Kampala's bustle, and the location is handy for many of the city's attractions. Staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to help. I had a wonderful stay at Excelsis Garden Hotel and highly recommend it for a comfortable, relaxing visit.
