Hotel Acacia City

The location works well for Acasia mall, but the hotel is right on the main road and the passing cars and bikes made it impossible to sleep, day and night. There are better options nearby on mwanda road and old Kira road. The rooms are small, and the bathroom water has no pressure. Service felt terrible and fake, as if they only cared about getting customers. They also charge around 70% of the room rate if you check out late. A complete rip-off. I had a terrible stay and would never come back or recommend it.

You’re paying for the location next to Acacia mall, and it’s cheap for that area. The room was spacious, but it felt like a run-down hostel, with old things that didn’t work properly. Even the toilet flush was unreliable, and the door seemed like it might open if you just pushed it.

The staff are great, but the building is dated, to put it mildly. It’s hard to find even with GPS. The sign is almost impossible to see, and you may need a local boda to point out the driveway off the main street. You get what you pay for.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. It’s close to a mall for shopping and food, and convenient for getting around the rest of town.
