Meilin International Hotel

I use the map for delivery work, and when it runs slowly or keeps saying the GPS signal is lost, I get inconvenienced and can end up unable to find my customers.

When I arrived at night, the GM refused my company cheque and said payment had to be by cash or card. The cheque had to come from my company outside Uganda, and I had already spent a month confirming the arrangements with two hotel staff members and the accounts office for my week-long stay. I had also held a conference there before, so they knew me, and they had confirmed I could pay by cheque when I made the reservation myself. The staff showed no empathy or remorse, especially the GM. I wouldn't recommend the hotel again. Since then, I've cancelled all my bookings and plans for my office to work with them.

Good customer care, and it's conveniently close to the city center.

The staff are great, the rooms are good and spacious, and the neighborhood is one of the best. Still, the smoke smell is strong throughout, so the smoking policy isn't suitable for non-smokers. The internet is also slow and inconsistent, which matters a lot to business professionals. I really like this hotel, but those two problems nearly cancel out its good qualities. Management, please consider an indoor no-smoking policy or an outdoor smoking area, and improve the internet.
