Mucha Hotel

It’s a good place to rest after trekking in the surrounding landscapes. The gardens beside the river are beautifully kept and make it easy to slow down and enjoy the setting. Rooms are practical and comfortable, and the team’s warm service and attention to detail make a stay feel personal. Cocktails by the crackling fire are a lovely evening touch. The chef prepares high quality meals, adding to the appeal of this secluded retreat. With the location, attentive staff, and value for money, it stands out as a place to stay while exploring the region.

The food was a real highlight, everything was a hit, especially the pizza. You can tell the chefs put love and skill into cooking, which I really appreciate as a foodie. Mucha Riverside also made the whole family outing feel special, with a bar, games room, spa overlooking the stream, and fireplace. They seemed to think of everything. I went gorilla trekking while staying in Kisoro, and the lodge helped us get ready early that morning. After a long day out, coming back to relax there felt heavenly. I can’t wait to return.

My stay at Mucha Lodges was phenomenal. The staff were so welcoming and did everything they could to make it comfortable and memorable. My room was spotless, with beautiful views of the mucha river, and the on-site restaurant served delicious, locally sourced food. I especially enjoyed gorilla trekking and the fun activities organized by the lodge management. They picked me up from the airport and dropped me off afterward. I’d highly recommend it for a peaceful, authentic wilderness stay.
