On Masaba Road, Courts View Hotel is well placed for getting to Mbale town and nearby attractions. It feels peaceful, clean, and secure, with lovely views. The rooms are spacious and kept neat, and the restaurant has a tasty range of meals. Staff were friendly, professional, and quick to help, making it a welcoming choice for either business or leisure.

The pool, pizza, sauna, and steam room were all fantastic, and the setting has a lovely atmosphere. Staff were welcoming, attentive, and helpful throughout. The only hiccup was that they could use a bit more practice with the tap EFTPOS machine. I’d love to return with my family.

I really liked the view from my room, but the untinted windows mean you need to be mindful of privacy. A few details also need better attention: one light didn’t work, there was no bathroom towel on the first day, and the Chinese TV channels and menus were difficult to navigate. A colleague said the AC in their room was broken too. Fixing these smaller issues could make the stay better.

The buildings look nice, but the service was extremely poor. We ordered simple meals for the children, chips and chicken plus fish, and waited nearly two hours. Even after we told management about the delay, nobody seemed concerned. I won’t be back soon.

I attended a workshop here. The conference hall was spacious and good, and they served local African food. The break tea was good too.
