I stopped for a snack on the way to Rukingiri. The food and service were good, and I sat outside in a quiet, secluded spot. I also saw the rooms, which looked convenient and clean.

It's a relaxing, quiet place with lovely gardens and good self-contained cottages. The meals offer plenty to suit different tastes, and the staff provide excellent customer service. It's also suitable for camping and bird watching.

I paid 82,000 Ugandan shillings for a spacious single room. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and quiet, with friendly, helpful staff and good hot water. Its lovely garden has lots of plants and flowers, which attract many kinds of birds, and the restaurant was quite good. The one drawback was the lack of WiFi, though I was told they plan to get it. Ntungamo Resort Hotel is another good choice, but it also has no WiFi.
