Engiri Game Lodge and Campsite

We stayed in Engiri Lodge's garden at Kantunguru with our rooftop tent, and everything was perfect. The setting was beautiful and the service outstanding. Seeing John the elephant come by for breakfast was absolutely unforgettable! 🐘 Highly recommended.

The local elephant is incredible, and both the staff and location are superb. We had some laundry done and ate most of our meals there. The portions were generous and delicious. With lovely hot showers and toilets, it was a good place to freshen up while camping.

An elephant coming for an evening meal of grass right outside our window was the highlight. We stayed in the double deluxe cottage, with its enormous, comfortable bed. The food was very good and the portions generous. It's perfectly located right in the park, and at 100 dollars a night it isn't expensive for what you get.

The main reception is in a larger lodge, with a restaurant upstairs serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all with amazing views. Since the resort is in the middle of a national park, animals often show up at night, so security escorts guests from reception to their rooms. We had an amazing room in a cabin with its own bathroom and a huge, comfortable bed. It's a gorgeous lodge in the middle of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
