There’s plenty to see on the boat ride, and you can look out over the Kazinga channel while having a meal. It’s a quiet place with top-notch service for everyone, not just clients. I’d recommend giving it a try while you’re in Queen Elizabeth National park.

We saw wild animals wandering around the lodge and across the river during our amazing stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was really tasty too.

The boat tour was a highlight: we saw lots of hippos, birds, and buffalo, and our guide knew a great deal. The gift shop had lots of lovely local crafts, and our clean room had good hot water and mosquito net curtains. The views were amazing, the staff attentive, and the whole stay was absolutely wonderful, just what you picture in a safari lodge.

The view of the Kazinga Channel is good, but the property feels old and poorly maintained. Water was leaking in my bathroom, the food was so-so, and the cutlery hadn’t been cleaned properly.

Waking up to the beautiful sunrise here is magical. The lodge sits along the Mweya Peninsular, with a wonderful view of the Queen Kazinga Channels.
