The service was good and all the staff were friendly. My six-year-old even asked if we could come back soon! We had a family lunch today and everyone really enjoyed their meal and dessert. I’d especially recommend the chicken linguine, chicken pie and breaded fish and chips. The hot chocolate was delicious too, and so was the tablet served on the side. Definitely worth a trip.

The staff were super attentive and friendly, and the food was amazing. The fish and chips were the best I’ve ever tasted. I’d definitely recommend the deluxe rooms. The rooms with balconies aren’t as nice.

On day 15 of our motorcycle holiday, we arrived to super friendly staff, which was the best part of the stay. The hotel itself was disappointing, though. There was a strong musky smell throughout, the ceiling skylight above the bathroom sink dropped debris into it, and the rugs looked dirty. My girlfriend didn’t feel comfortable using the shower. The repairs might have been minor, but together with the smell they had a big impact. Dinner was fair. We wouldn’t stay again, despite the great staff.

The restaurant was the highlight, with an exceptional roast lamb, and the complimentary breakfasts were top class too. The staff were exceptionally friendly. Our room was large, nice and clean, with good amenities. We had an amazing stay and will make the nine-hour drive again to come back.

A lovely atmosphere in both the bar and the dining conservatory, with excellent staff and a very good, varied menu. It’s a great place for lunch or dinner, convenient for shopping in Cults and close to Aberdeen.
